The human figure has always been Sally Gatie's main source of inspiration. She paints both large and small scale artworks using oil on canvas. Working from sketches and photo-montages, Sally creates her paintings using a grid system, working from her studio in Scarborough. She regularly shows her works across the U.K. - from London to Edinburgh.
Her original painting 'Ruby Bloom' was the winner of the Ferens Art Gallery Open Exhibition Council Cup Award for 2015.
