An atmospheric picture of the Victorian gaff-rigged cutter called Marigold. She has the straight stem, long bowsprit and overhanging counter so characteristic of cruising racers of the 1890's.
She was designed by Charles Nicholson and built by Camper and Nicholson in 1892. Her waterline length was 47.5 feet, her overall length 59 feet. She is still with us, beautifully and authentically restored.
This fine art limited edition is a giclee print with an edition size of 95 and signed by marine artist Roger Davies. The picture is supplied cellophane wrapped, presented in a generously sized double-mount.
