'Bankside' icture by artist Gary Saunt. Bankside, Wincolmlee, Hull’s old industrial area which runs alongside the river Hull. Local MP’s Alan Johnson and David Davis kneel in the foreground, no doubt debating some weighty political issue. Alan Johnson, a former postman, kneels in front of a red post box, while David Davis is dressed in fatigues – a nod to time spent in the Territorial Army. In the background are the distinctive Wilmington Bridge (The red bridge) was built as a railway bridge that runs across the river Hull), the Rank Hovis flour mill, and the clock tower of Hull's Guildhall.
